CARF Suicide Prevention Standards Address Public Health Crisis

CARF International (CARF) has announced the release of standards for developing and implementing suicide prevention programs. Based on the findings of a 2016 International Standards Advisory Committee meeting and 2017 field review, CARF has developed a standards manual supplement for comprehensive suicide prevention programs. The publication is designed to be used with the 2017 Behavioral Health Standards Manual, which took effect on July 1.
