Kognito is hosting a webinar on the role of school communities after a suicide. Presenters include Richard Lieberman, lecturer in the Graduate School of Education at Loyola Marymount University, and Scott Poland, professor at College of Psychology and co-director of the Suicide and Violence Prevention Office at Nova Southeastern University. They will discuss the rationale and primary goals of postvention, the roles and responsibilities within the school community after a suicide, and recommendations and resources for schools and districts. The webinar will be held on August 1 from 1 to 2 p.m. ET and August 2 from 2 to 3 p.m. ET.
