The National Council for Behavioral Health is hosting its annual conference from April 3 to 5, 2017 in Seattle, Wash. Speakers will include mental health advocate Patrick Kennedy, health care economist Uwe Reinhardt, and Principal Deputy Administrator of the Substance Abuse and Mental Health Services Administration (SAMHSA) Kana Enomoto. Preconference universities will take place on April 2, including an expert panel on best practices in suicide prevention with Julie Goldstein Grumet, director of Health and Behavioral Health Initiatives at SPRC; Mike Hogan, consultant at Hogan Health Solutions; and Richard McKeon, chief of the SAMHSA Suicide Prevention Branch; among others.
