The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) Injury Center has released new data in its Morbidity and Mortality Weekly Report (MMWR) on suicide trends in the U.S. by level of urbanization. The data show that between 1999 and 2015, suicide rates increased across all levels of urbanization, with the gap in rates between less urban and more urban areas widening over time.
