The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) has released QuickStats on injury death rates among youth ages 15 to 19 by intent. Between 1999 and 2017, the death rate for unintentional injury was higher than for suicide and homicide, but the difference has narrowed in the past decade.
