Christopher Epperson

Christopher Epperson has worked in suicide prevention for over a decade, inspired by his experience as a suicide attempt survivor and suicide loss survivor. With a broad professional background that includes work as a youth pastor, Epperson is a co-owner of Soul Shop™ Movement, a faith-based organization focusing on suicide prevention and education in faith communities in the U.S.

Epperson has received several awards for his work, including the 2020 Distinguished Chapter Leadership Award from the American Foundation for Suicide Prevention (AFSP). He currently serves on the AFSP National Board of Directors, the AFSP Chapter Leadership Council, and as a board member of AFSP Arkansas.
