NCHS Data Brief on U.S. Suicide Rates, 2000 to 2016

The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) National Center for Health Statistics (NCHS) has released a data brief on age-adjusted national suicide rates from 2000 to 2016. It found that the average annual suicide rate increased by about 1 percent per year from 2000 through 2006 and by 2 percent per year from 2006 through 2016.
