SAMHSA Awards Garrett Lee Smith Funding

The Substance Abuse and Mental Health Services Administration (SAMHSA) has awarded funding to states, tribes, and college campuses to help prevent youth suicide. The awards include $3.6 million to states and tribes for the Garrett Lee Smith State/Tribal Youth Suicide Prevention and Early Intervention Program, and $2.3 million to college campuses for the Garrett Lee Smith Campus Suicide Prevention Program.
